This is my family. They were not very happy with me when I insisted on taking the family pictures I had scheduled on a brisk March morning. But they went along with it because they love and support me.
This is my grandpa’s barn. I have so many fond memories with my cousins at my grandparents’ farm playing hide and seek in the dark, swinging on the branches of the big weeping willow tree, making mud pies in their play kitchen buried deep in the trees, family meals and learning many of life’s important lessons along the way.
Families are the foundation of a thriving society. They provide stability, security and the unconditional love we all need to grow and find happiness in a challenging and changing world.
